Tires Pressure:

Normal working of brakes, steer and grip can only be attained by normal tire pressure which is suitable for all the things.

Tires pressure has great impact on deriving even a slight over or under inflated tire can have big impacts. Make sure to follow the manufacturer instructions about the pressure of your car tires.

Windscreen Wipers

Check the wipers of your car before taking it out for a journey. Wipers play a great role in the safety of car and your life. Wipers clean the front windscreen. If you drive in dirty windscreen you may get an accident. Therefore check the wipers of your car and replace them if needed.

 Check Oil Level

Oil plays an important role in keeping the engine running in good and smooth condition. If the oil become too much old or its level decreased too much it will greatly harm your engine.

In old cars there is a dipstick which is used to check the oil level of engine. If your car also has a dipstick, check the oil level from it and also the oil condition. In modern cars there is no dipstick, the oil level is shown in the dashboard.

You should check the hand book you received with your car to clearly now about the oil level and conditions.

Lights

Safe driving strictly demands for fully functioning lights. Lights are not just used by you to see the road clearly, they are also important at night and in foggy or dusty weather where the visibility is not clear to make your car visible.

In addition to this lights are also used for many driving signals you give to other drivers and to communicate with them safely.

That’s why checking the lights is important. Turn on your car and check your lights by switching them on and off.

 Fuel Level

If you are checking the safety of your car for starting a long journey then checking the fuel tank before starting is also very important.

Filling up the tank of fuel from the nearest pump will save you from tensions and problems. It will make your journey peaceful.

You should always check the fuel level whether you are going to start a long journey or a small ride.

If you have a hybrid car then make sure that its battery is fully charged before starting the journey..

 Emergency Supplies

Check for the things that are required in emergency situations.

  • You should take the red-warning triangles with you. If your car stops on the road and you are unable to move then this warning triangle will show your presence to other drivers. It will be safe for you
  • Car fire extinguisher should be available and in a good condition every time
  • You should take the spare tire with you, and check its air pressure, and some required tools to change the tire if your car get flat in a place where there is no workshop.
  • You should take some water, emergency flash light, snacks and clothes with you which can be used if you get stuck in long distances driving.
  • Keeping a first aid kit with you is also a good strategy. It is very useful in case of accidents or small injuries.

These safety techniques will help you a lot in your journey.
